Well-appointed room, owner ensures pristine condition. Peaceful rural setting, super comfortable super king bed, large room, large desk. Tea/coffee making facilities. Huge shower, spacious bathroom. Awesome hosts, great value for money. I would stay again.

May be more hot breakfast option. We don't want to pay $12 or $17 for just bread with jam, or muesli.

the verandah outside the room was a nice touch, perfect for relaxing and enjoying meals. The hosts provided excellent service, showing genuine care for their guests. The comfortable bed and affordable rates made for a pleasant stay.

Title: Fantastic Stay with Friends, Just One Thing Missing

The only thing missing for us young party-goers was a banging pool area or a cool outdoor hangout spot. Don't get me wrong, we had a blast at Aotearoa Lodge, but a chill pool or outdoor patio would have taken our experience to the next level.

During my recent stay at a lodge in Whitianga, I had a truly exceptional experience. The owners of the lodge went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. The room I stayed in had a lovely deck behind it, where I could relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The kitchen in the lodge was well-equipped with everything I needed for cooking, which was a huge bonus. Additionally, the bed was incredibly comfortable, with high-quality linen that ensured a restful night's sleep. The location was quiet and rural, allowing me to unwind and disconnect from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The shower pressure was excellent, and the owner was extremely friendly and accommodating. The ample parking space available at the lodge was also a great convenience. my stay at the lodge was fantastic and I would highly recommend it.

The wifi exceeded our expectations, accommodating all our devices. The spacious family room with full cooking facilities, a large fridge, and freezer was a pleasant surprise. The bedrooms were comfortable, with options for couples and kids. The owner even allowed us to check in early, which was a great help. The private garden area was a nice touch. The deck behind our room was absolutely stunning. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. The staff were prompt in finding us alternative parking when needed. Though a car was necessary, the location was peaceful and serene. The owner was exceptionally friendly and the shower had good water pressure. For the price, it was more than worth it. The room may be on the smaller side for a longer stay, but in the summer, the deck would make it an idyllic place to stay.

We traveled nz for 3 months and stayed at various accomodations and this was the least value and it was the most we paid anywhere.

We had a wonderful time staying at this hotel. Best aspects were the clean and comfortable rooms with a king size bed just like home. The hotel facilities were also great, with a spacious guest lounge and balcony. It was a peaceful location close to the beach, and we could easily walk to nearby restaurants for dinner.
